2018 LARP Yard Sale

larpEvent Date: October 6th
Event Location: 4448 Coles Mill Rd, Williamstown NJ 08094

The LARP Yard Sale is an event where anyone who wants to set up a table/booth can come and sell their wares!  If you have a business and want to advertise or set up a booth: YOU CAN!  If you have no business, but want to sell things you no longer use: YOU CAN!  If you want to do a mix of both: YOU CAN!  Check out our Frequently Asked Questions at the bottom for specific vendor information.

This will be our second annual LARP Yard Sale, and I am very excited.  In addition to the Yard Sale portion, we had people doing demos of their games’ combat, advertising different LARPs or Organizations, and we did a BBQ!

Activities

Trick or Treating

We will be having a Trick or Treat activity for children.  People who are setting up booths/tables are encouraged to bring candy to give out to kids who come and go trick or treating.  We will have some extra candy, in case people forget or can’t bring candy.

Game Demos

If you want to demonstrate combat or weapons or anything from your game, you are welcome to do so.  Last year, Barenheim (a boffer-combat organization) invited people to try their combat system, and everyone had a blast!

FAQs

What kind of booth can I have?

Any, really.  You can sell LARP/Period related items, LARP-safe weapons, crafts, props, etc, AND/OR you can sell normal things that you have been wanting to do a yard-sale for, but never found the time.

How much does it cost to set up a booth/table?

Nothing!  Simply let us know ahead of time over on our Facebook Event, and we will try to set aside space for you!

Do I have to bring my own table/tent?

Yes!  If you want a table, or want to set up a tent in-case of weather, you will have to provide your own.  We do not have enough to go around!

Do I have to be in costume?

Not if you don’t want to!  We open this event to the public, and people from the local townships swing through, so we have a mix of people in garb and people not.

Can I advertise my LARP?

Totally!  LARPs are welcome to set up booths and talk about their game, hand out materials, take pre-registrations, whatever you would like!
