Exile: Survival at Kotoricon was an enormous success! Thank you to all the staff members that showed up to help run the booth ad the panel. And a HUGE thanks to Dr. Glen and all of the college staff and volunteers. They couldn’t have been more helpful.
Exile Zombie Challenge
Our Rock Paper Scissors game was a huge success, and drew loads of people to our booth. People who signed up joined the humans or zombies, and could challenge people on the other team to a game of RPS. The winners of the RPS game got to take a tag from the other player, which were tallied at the end of the day. The top winners from each side got three free events and a copy of Max Brooks’s Zombie Survival Guide.
We met a lot of awesome people with this game, and everyone had great energy about the whole thing! It was a lot of fun to watch the zombies and humans challenging each other throughout the convention, and then happily chatting afterwards.
The zombie winner was Jamie, who had an amazing 41 tags! The runner up for the zombie team was a young man named Kush, who followed behind with 32 tags.
The human winner was a young man named Trevor, who had an amazing 32 tags.
We then had a final showdown, between our Zombie winner and our Human winner. Jamie stepped aside and had Kush challenge Trevor in his place.
Trevor won against Kosh and got the top prize: Free games for life at Exile: Survival. Congratulations to all our winners!
Zombie Survival Panel
Jess, Baylee and Joe ran a panel on “Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse”. For an hour, they informed and entertained an audience that filled the room. We would like to thank everyone who attended the panel, as the audience was really involved and energetic. There are few feelings more amazing than talking to a room full of people who are happy and who talk back!
If You Played Our Zombie Game
Everyone who played our zombie game at Kotoricon gets half off the next Exile event (Survival or Fantasy) that they would have to pay for! This is just an extra thank you for coming out and making our convention amazingly fun and exciting!
Wow. That Jamie guy sure is cute.
We thought so. It appears, however, that he is taken. 😀
